Hello Oddworld fans!


I haven't found any more news on OI since the last update but any information would be greatly appreciated, either as a comment or a note.
For now I would recommend a search of [link] which has a list of over 140 topics on Oddworld going right back so you can catch up on the recent events of Oddworld Inhabitants.

The clubs chatroom has had a rather patchy start but now has several regulars for just general chat and Oddworld RP come visit it some time! I (~stray-shadow) am in it from around 18:00GMT (13:00US/Central) till 00:00GMT (19:00US/Central) while I keep track of the club so drop in and get to know other fans here on dA!


Also from the chat I have realised how unread the clubs journals are so for this one I would like to invite you to leave a comment just so we can get an idea of how many active members we have.
Also I found that people really haven't taken in the messages within the games themselves, I recently discoverd ~OddMinds which is for those that have realised that Oddworld is far more than just cool creatures and basic good over evil, but a reflection of our cruel, selfish, consumerist, violent and unfair society and history. I've intentionally overlooked this as this club was founded more as a gathering for all Oddworld fans to meet and share their art and the great times from the awesome games. The forum is there if you want to talk some more about it!


Secondly, if there is anything you think we could do better please send us a note, this club is here for the fans.

Remember the Shoutboard, Forum and Chatroom are there for you to use!

Thirdly with the mass of Original Character Tournaments going on we were playing with the notion of running one ourselves, in the distant future when eveything inplace of course, and would like to know if anyone would be interested in it. Be it taking part, helping out or just throwing in some ideas.

Something the club has lacked is news of current OI projects, this is only a tiny bit of info and a pair of links for now.


For those of you unaware, Oddworld Inhabitants have started making games again! Currently turning their attention to CG in Television and Movies. Their current project being Citizen Siege, lots more info available at [link] as well as this breif peice of news on OI [link]
